Teacher
Sophia's education began very early, her mother died when she was ten years old. She had one older sister and three younger siblings. How do run a home without a mom? It was grow up fast season for two pre-teen girls and younger, Shirley, Bubby and Sally. Ira Lewis Morel, the proud father of these children was determind to keep his family together. With the help of church friends and relatives he suceeded. Responsibility and obedience were tools Sophia learned to use much earlier than most. After school there was less time for play, there were home duties to do. A teacher was being molded to love and work for her family. In her early teen years she traded baby sitting for piano lessons. By the time she was sixteen she was playing for church service. For the rest of Sophia's life she has blessed us with music. She is a Music Teacher, Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Superintendent and Helper to those wthin her reach.
